Post-breeding flocks, sometimes of enormous size, forage on fields, in gardens, on cherry trees, on shoreline seaweed, etc.\nIn the Netherlands largely resident, but massive influx from N and NE Europe during Aug-March, some roosting in urban sites.\n\nThis is a very common Breeder in the Netherlands. In Winter there are large Flocks to be seen, which gives a spectacular view in the Sky.$
