Ko Lanta, Krabi province, Thailand - Jan 04 2019: Violent waves crash onto the beach. Tropical Storm Pabuk is hours away. The first tropical storm to make landfall in Thailand in decades. The wind and waves are strong. All boat travel has been banned and people are being warned to stay away from the sea. Despite the warnings people still paddle. Preparations are underway for the looming natural disaster. The location is Ko Lanta, Krabi province, Thailand.
