Halifax, Canada - August 2023: Statue of the goddess Diana in the Halifax Public Gardens. These are Victorian-era public gardens established in 1867 and they’re located on the Spring Garden Road and opposite Victoria Park. The gardens are now a National Historic Site of Canada in 1984. In 1887, the Sir William Young (a Nova Scotian politician) estate donated three statues to gardens, after his death. The statues were of the goddesses Ceres, Flora and Diana.
