June 2024: A woman in a wetsuit surfing on the Eisbach River in the English Garden, which is located in the centre of the Bavarian city of Munich. The beautiful park is a popular destination for residents of Munich and tourists visiting the city. A manmade step built into the river creates waves in the fast flowing river that flows through the scenic landscape of the park, enabling people to surf at what is known as The Eisbachwelle. Crowds have gathered to watch the fun, while other surfers wait their turn.
