BLUE WAYS is a ship that ran aground in the waters near Chengshan Town, Weihai, China in September 2022. It is 190 meters long and 31 meters wide. On the morning of September 19, 2022, the Panamanian bulk carrier BLUE WAY ran aground and entered the sea near Chengshan Town, Weihai City, China, causing 25 people on board to be in danger. The North Sea Rescue Bureau of the Chinese Ministry of Transport dispatched rescue ships and helicopters to successfully rescue all the people in distress. Due to high towing costs, the ship owner has not been able to pull the ship away from the surface.
