Douz, Tunisia - December 28, 2005: Le Festival international du Sahara (المهرجان الدولي للصحراء بدوز) is an annual festival held in the Tunisian town of Douz. In 1981, the festival takes on an international dimension with the participation of Arab and African countries. The event, held over four days at the end of December, attracts thousands of people from throughout Tunisia and other North African countries.
