Vienna's State Opera House (Staatsoper) was the first building build on the Ringstrasse in 1869 according to Neo-renaisance architectural style. Bombed in 1945, it was largely reconstructed and re-opened in 1955. It is now one of the most famous venues for opera and ballet performances in the world.
