Detail of a rack of old car rubber tires used for protecting the hull of moored nautical vessels in the harbor (or harbour) of the small fishing village of Agia Ermioni at the eastern coastline of the Greek Island of Chios in the Aegean Sea on a sunny midday in spring (late March). The image was captured on old-fashioned ISO 400 (grainy) 35mm black and white film by an analogue (or analog) 35 mm film camera with a red filter to darken the sky. The granularity in the image is real film grain (due to the presence of small particles of a metallic silver on the negative). Minimal post processing has been done (only adjustment of histogram). The image is part of a series of a harbour (or harbor) on the Greek Island of Chios.
