Woolwich Common is a common in Woolwich in southeast London, England. It lies on the northern slope of Shooter's Hill, a 132 metres high hill in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, only a few hundred metres southwest of Woolwich town centre.
Campanula rapunculus, common name rampion bellflower is a species of bellflower (Campanula) in the family Campanulaceae. This species was once widely grown in Europe for its leaves, which were used like spinach. The image was captured in a formal garden and it shows the edible leaves.

Short to medium, slightly hairy annual or biennial. Basal leaves forming a rosette, elliptical toothed or untoothed; stem leaves usually untoothed, unstalked. Flowers white, 3mm. Fruits linear, 5-20mm, hairless, not flattened.\nHabitat: Arable and cultivated land, waste places, banks, walls and hedgerows, often on rather dry sandy soils.\nFlowering Season: March-October.\nDistribution: Throughout Europe, except for much of the north, the Faeroes and Iceland, often abundant.\n\nThis is a very common weed in the Netherlands in the described Habitats.

Galium aparine has many colourful names besides cleaver's herb, including goosegrass, robin-run-the-hedge, bedstraw, sweetheart plant, stickywilly and catchweed. The last three names echo the tendency of the barbed fruits to stick to fabric. It is a plant with a long history of medicinal use, human and veterinary, and has been used in a wide range of problems which involve the lymphatic system and in dry skin conditions.
