The Olmec colossal heads are at least seventeen monumental stone representations of human heads sculpted from large basalt boulders. The heads date between 900 and 700 BC and are a distinctive feature of the Olmec civilization of ancient Mesoamerica. Many are exhibited in the city of Villahermosa in the Parque-Museo La Venta. Tabasco, Mexico.

Traditional Kifwebe mask made by craftsmen  of the Baluba tribe. The Luba or Baluba tribe, living in the Democratic Republic of the Congo,  is famous for his wood carvers. This ceremonial tribal mask was probably  made about the years 1960 in the Kasai region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo .
