The Temple of Athena in Side, Turkey is a 2nd-century BC ruin dedicated to the goddess of wisdom, located in Side's harbor area. While today only a few columns and some parts of a frieze with Medusa heads remain standing, the site was once a large peripteral temple with Corinthian columns. Its strategic location near the Mediterranean Sea makes it a popular spot, especially at sunset, and it stands near the equally significant ruins of the Temple of Apollo.
